BitMart announced an orderly wind-down on July 26, 2026. New registrations, deposits, new positions, new spot orders, and automated trading services began stopping in phases from 01:30 UTC. Spot, futures, and other trading services are scheduled to stop on August 26, 2026, while formal trading-platform operations are planned to end on January 31, 2027. Withdrawals remain available during the wind-down. HEI therefore uses limited and leaves death_reason and death_date null until the relevant shutdown stages are verified. BitMart's official history gives an exact launch date of March 15, 2018. The origin field follows the current official user agreement, which identifies GBM Global Inc. with a Marshall Islands registration number and address.
